Bamboo Salon

I highly recommend Genee at Bamboo salon. I have been going to her for about 10+ years and trust her completely with my hair. I often get compliments on the highlights in my hair. She really knows hair and coloring and how to give you a style. She recently moved to Bamboo Salon and I couldn't be happier with the environment she chose. It is a stylish, hip salon, very clean, courteous people and the wash basins are very comfortable as well.

I recently made the move from barber to stylist - and very happy for having made the change. I brought my 3 sons with me (ages 18m - 8) and they get kid-pro attention and style from Steve. He is awesome with kids! They get the post-scissor lollipop but I'm still waiting for my reward. Hmmm, cut and cocktail?

Went to see Erin upon the recommendation of a friend. My hair looks absolutely awesome! I can't believe how much difference my new color (a shiny, glossy chesnut) and updated cut make. My boyfriend didn't recognize me and said I've never looked sexier. I will be back to see Erin without a doubt. Thank you Erin!

If you want beautiful brows, please make an appointment with Irina. She has made my brows look so beautiful and natural. She understands how brows relate to the face. She is gifted. I used to go the "Ana.." salon at Fashion Valley and they took all my brows. Irina brought them back to life! Thank you Irina. I will never go to another brow personshe is the best. And she is a friendly, down to earth, great person

i had been looking for a hairstylist for awhile, not satisfied with the one i had and someone recommended Lauren. decided to give her a try and absolutely loved her. she does my hair exactly how i want it everytime. the styles she gives me are hip, creative and fun. love her and love the atmosphere of the salon.

I enjoy coming to the salon monthly. Friendly staff, and Chris Schingle is a great colorist and stylist! They all seem to have a great time, and relaxing atomosphere.

My husband often jokes with me that I go see Irina for counseling sessions rather than a facial or wax! She has been a great friend to me for many years and I never doubt flaunting any work she has done for me. :-) Most definitely the most professional facials, threading, ect. You will find any where in CA. (trust me I have looked long and hard). Not only that but she is a great character! Her serene environment adds to the overall affect and she always has good advise. Also has a wide variety of products for sale! Give it a go and honor your body. You will not be able to survive without her after the first visit! Lol

I stepped into Salon Bamboo yesterday and thought to myself "This was unlike any salon I had every been to"! On a recommendation of a friend I thought that I would try a stylist at Bamboo after my stylist of 10+ years had moved away. This is a first class salon in the heart of Mission Hills. I have lived here forever and driven by it 1000 times. Now that I have been here I can't believe that I drove to Solana Beach for so long. I was greeted by a nice young lady named Jocalyn who offered me hot tea while I waited. (Something I was never offered at my previous salon.) The atrium inside has bamboo growing to the top of the second floor. (I never knew you could grow bamboo in doors like that.) The overall feel of the salon was friendly and comforting. My stylist was Erica! I have to tell you that I took about 8 inches off my hair so I was a little scared. She spent a lot of time with me to understand exactly what I wanted. I loved her understanding of my anxiety of cutting my hair shorter. My hair came out sensational! You should hear the girls at work! Thanks to Erica and Bamboo for such a wonderful afternoon. I can't wait to come back.

I have been seeing Erica Pray for 5 years now and her ability to nail my hair color EVERY TIME is unbelievable. I don't know what I would do without her. Treat yourself and go see Erica, you won't be disappointed.

Sue Ellen has benn doing my cut and color for about 10+ years now and is very knowledgable and does a fabulous job. I always look forward to seeing her. She always makes me laugh too!
