Roy's offer the best in Asian Pacific Rim fusion. They offer the freshest of seafood prepared with a Hawaiian-Asian flair. The service is alway on point and the atmosphere is casually elegant.

Roy's has a very upscale environment serving great hawaiian fusion food. I have been to many Roy's locations (Waikaloa, Hawaii, San Francisco, CA, La Jolla, CA) and have never had a bad experience. Their Boat for Two is a nice way to try a few of their famous appetizers. I am also a big fan of the Hibachi Salmon with Ponzu Sauce. But the absolute best part is, their Chocolate Souffle which needs to be ordered in advance. Enjoy!

There is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
The fish we got was dry and not that good. Everything else we got was good though. I wouldn't really go again because of the prices.

The food taste so good here but prepare to pay mucho $$$ for this.

One of my fav restaurants San Diego, esp. the La Jolla location. The best place to sit is against the back wall near the bar. If you book a reservation online, you can request to sit there and almost every time you'll get it. Everything is great! I always get the Braised Short Ribs, a glass of their specialty Pfeffingen “Roy's Private Label” Riesling (its excellent!) and their Chocolate Souffle. The only draw back is never go during Valentine's Day. The place is packed and they end up running out of the prix fixe entrees so you're stuck with what they have left.

We've been here a few times, and yummmmit's one of the few pricier places where I think the food is actually worth the money! They have a really good "all in one" option where you get your appetizer, main course and dessert for one pretty decent price. The Riesling wine is also quite delicious. And, the service has been excellent every time! It doesn't hurt, either, that the bathrooms are super clean and the napkins by the sinks are the softest, most cloth-like paper napkins I've ever usedcall me weird, but the cleanliness of a bathroom is important to me--if the bathroom's clean, the kitchen's gotta be immaculate, right? ;-)

I had a seared ahi steak that was amazing, but my family were less impressed with the things they ordered. Prices are very high, so you're either very satisfied are very angry. The service is friendly, but they try really hard to get you to valet park, and it's like $8.

I took my mother and sister here for a nice dinner and we very much enjoyed it. They had some fabulous appetizers, one of which is a very delicious sashimi. And the entrees were pretty good! Expect to spend more than your average costs for a lunch or dinner. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an elegant place for a date or nice family outing. Note: probably not suitable for young kids.
