Point Loma Seafoods

It can definitely get crowded but the fish is worth waiting for at this little local spot in Point Loma.

It's a bit out of my way but I still drive there because I love this place.

Always a great experience, food is so fresh and wonderfully prepared. Fish I've taken home to cook has always been great. If you even just kind of like seafood, this is a must try place to eat.

I met my dad for lunch during the week here. Amazing. the fish is the freshest you can find anywhere. Prices are right. People come from all over the county to purchase their fish here. Instead of going to a fancy seafood restaurant, come here, order a customizable filet/cut of your favorite fish and suprise your significant other with a couple candles and world class fish dinner at home! They'll even marinate or flavor it for you and give you tips on cooking! Not a fancy place to dine in, but the fish can't be beat. Great for picnic spot on a warm day and overlooks the bay.

Not really what I expected after all the hype about this place. I hate standing in long lines for average food. Now, I'll wait hours for Phil's BBQMMMMMMMmmm, but I won't be back here again. Crab cakes were not very good, better off frying the ones you get at Costco! Salad was nothing special. Shrimp was tasteless. And above all it was expensive!

I'm an Australian in SD looking for good fish 'n' chips. I have to be honest -- my SD wife and I were very disappointed with this place. There's no choice of the kind of fish you have (in Australia you can generally choose from maybe four or five kinds); there's no choice in how it's cooked (battered or crumbed); the crumbing they use is over-seasoned; the fish is dry; the fries are fatty; and the price is ridiculous. No offense, but if San Diegans think this is awesome fish 'n' chips, then they must just not know how good fish 'n' chips can be. I guess I'll keep looking, but if this is supposed to be the best, I'm not holding out much hope.

A must do place to take visiting friends, grab a sandwich or pick something up before going home. Clean bright place with the freshest fish in town.

What can I say that has not already been said. This is the best fast seafood in the county. A little bit pricey, but the great taste more than makes up for that. The lines are very long and parking is at a premium.

If you like seafood, your will LOVE this place. Fresh and delicious. It is not really a restaurant. you can buy raw fish or order food deli-style. excellent clam chowder and calamari.

This place has the best clam chowder bowl EVER!!! The fish and chips are great too- captain's plate is great! Great food and wonderful atmosphere! Keep up the AWESOME WORK!!!

This is the Best Fresh Seafood in San Diego. Try to go early it does get busy. Great Customer Service. Also, If you forget your lemon or butter at the store don't fret They give it to ya with your order.
