Palm, The

This place has that old school feeling with wooden panels and 50's feel. The food is good but small portions and very pricey.

This is the type of restaurant that reminds me of the restaurants you would see in movies during the golden era. It has really good salmon but very expensive and small portions.

The Palm in NY is my favorite Restaurant and i cant stand this one, the food is just okay and they do not have the correct recipe for the blue chees dressing. the steaks are also a little dry.

If you're parents, like us, and are looking for a great date-night spot, this is the place to go. Ask for the waiter Israel, he was fantastic.

I went with my demanding Long Island family and their food and service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion, or just a nice night out. Both seafood and steaks were cooked perfectly.

I ate at this restaurant about a month after it opened so maybe the experience would be different now. But during my visit, I brought a friend along who ordered a ribeye (the same as me) only he ordered his medium and I ordered mine medium rare. Well, in the course of getting our steaks (which took awhile to arrive) out, the server got confused and switched our order up. So we ended up with each others steaks without realizing it until each of us took a bite. I didn't mind so much but it took awhile for them to take back my friends and bring it up to his specifications. By that time, I had finished mine. The steak itself was OK, but I would have to say that the way Ruth Chris does theres is the way to go.

The Palm is a good restaurant to go to when you want to have a quick meal. Everyday low prices. Good selection of combination platters on their menu. The service we had was fast, the waitress was exceptionally friendly and accomodating.

I would definitely recommend The Palm. It was my first time and I was definitely impressed! The filet was ever so tender and they had some of the best crab cakes around!
