La Vache & Co

La Vache is a good French restaurant which offers nice old french music and which reminds you of a typical french restaurant as well. The food is delicious and changes from all the American, Mexican, and Asian food you've had before. I recommend everyone who has not been there to try it. You will like it.

I like the value of the Pre Fixe Menu but you have to go for an early dinner. Unless you go on Tuesday.

This place is awesome. The food is great and for being French it's not pricey. The service is good. They have a fixed price menu if you eat before 4 or so (call the place to be sure). You get a salad, choice of 3 entrees, and chocolate mousse for dessert. A great value at $18. You get bread and butter with your meal. And crayons to draw on the paper tablecloth. The last time I came here I got the tomato soup and the house salad. The soup was very creamy, and the salad came with a big crouton with a blob of pungent cheese. So delicious. My friend got the chicken provencale pasta- which is a large portion. He let me sample it. It was good but I probably would have ordered something else. I'd recommend this place for quality French food and affordale prices.

good food and good service.. mid to high price range but can't go wrong with the bisque's!

La Vache is a great little local eatery that captures all the flavor of French Provincial Food. The ambiance, decor, and food all echo the subtle joys of the Provinces.
Prices are reasonable (I guess) running around $25 per person for dinner.
La Vache is popularalways lots of people. Enjoy!

La Vache & Co is a great upscale restaurant. A lovely place to go for a dinner for two. It's beautifully decorated inside. The amosphere is so very relaxing and comfortable. The food is superb, absolutely delicious. Service is fast, the staff is very nice and friendly.

This place has awesome food and very nice wines. The service is spotty though. Sometimes good/sometimes bad. Don't let it keep you away though. Try the Beef Bourgoine, yummmmm!

It's so nice to have really good French food in the neighborhood. La Vache has great atmosphere, wonderful food, and spirited service. Go early or on Tuesday all night for the prix fixe dinners, they are a real steal!!

I have been to La Vache several times over the past three years and have always enjoyed the casual atmosphere, french country food, and great service. Parking can be tough, as it always is in Hillcrest. I like to park at Village Hillcrest and walk the block and a half.
