Flemings are Pros, from start to finish you are in the hands of experts who will make sure all your red-meat-needs are being met. Highly recommended--you will impress anyone you take.

Made reservations for a Saturday night; I recommnd this!! Got seated within 5 minutes, really friendly host staff. Waitress was wonderful, so was wait staff. The food was amazing, we started with the sweet chile calamari, it was awesome; perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Finished with chocolate lave cake, it was really rich, but SO delish!! Steaks were cooked perfect as well, and trust me, we can be picky!
We ended up with a bill about $150, that included an appetizer, 2sides, 2steaks, 2desserts and 2alcoholic drinks. We had plenty to take home for the next day though!! I recommend if you are looking for a nice night out with great food and service; pricey, but worth it!!

The food is good, but expensive. Personally for the money I'd go down the road to Donovan's eerytime.

Flemings is a wonderful restaurant. Great atmosphere, service, and food. Top 3 for steak in San Diego. Personally, I prefer Donovan's if I'm only looking for a great steak, but Flemings is much more relaxed and has a larger menu. Great side dishes. Also a good selection of appetizers and the number of wines they have available is impressive. Expensive but not over-priced. Definitely a great dinner restaurant if your in the mood for quality food and service.

Flemings probably has the best steak in town, maybe tied with Ruth's Chris. They do really interesting things with their meat, like wrapping it in a puff pastry with a mushroom sauce. They also have excellent side dishes, like the shoestring potatoes, served in a spiral wire cup, overflowing with crispy potato shreds. The wine list is excellent, and the ambience is dark and classy. Pricey but worth it.

The steaks here are fantastic and taste great without any sauces. Served on sizzling plates, they really speak for themselves.

At first, the lack of windows everywhere seemed a bit odd but the mood is warm and friendly inside. I've been here a great many times and the food is excellent! Their steaks are some of the best I've had in San Diego and the waiters have been consistently friendly. If staying at the hotel nearby, it's a convenient place to walk to. I would gladly go again and avoid the places downtown as they're too crowded.

The waiters/waitress's are very friendly. The food is great but a little pricey but worth every penny. I recommend trying their creme brulee and steaks.

I can't say enough about Flemings. Out of all the steakhouses in SD, Flemings is my favorite. Excellent wine lists, excellent steaksyou can't ask for much more

Very calm atmosphere in a dimly lit room. They immediately start you off with complimentary appetizers as you sit down. Big selection of wines. Severals choices of meats, which are superb! Appetizers are a la carte. Desserts are delicious!
