En Fuego Cantina & Grill

Loved the Margaritas! The chips have a great spice to them too! the happy hours are a great place to meet after work, always busy and friendly staff! Parking is difficult on fridays but worth the driving around.

We went to taco tuesday at En Fruego and the food was the worst I've ever had in SD. I ordered a fish taco the first two bites were cabbage and tortilla when I finally got to the fish it was not good. It had a very strong fish taste that no amount of cabbage white sauce or hot sauce could cover. My friends ordered Spansih rice that was bland, and the carne asada tacos were more beans and avocado that actually carne asada. Over all the meal was terrible. The service was good.. the drink specials were fine and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, but I would not eat here again.

It was okay.
Parking is okay if you go during Local Season.
Service is okay.
Food was okay.
Chips and salsa were so-so.
Beer selection is good.
Happy hour is for the local businesses and not the glamorous crowd.

This is one of my all time favorites. It's a great atmosphere, good food, right by the beach. My husband and I actually had our rehearsal dinner here, and it was super fun. I definitely recommend it for a casual dinner or for a special occasion.

Great happy hour, with deals on all types of margaritgas, beers, and shots. Theur lobster tacos are to die for, and their seared ahi salad will fill you up with out filling up your waistline

This place has some good Mexican food, but also a great happy hour and late-night bar scene. Taco Tuesday's are awesome; the house marg's are half priced, and tacos and taquitos are only a buck. The tortilla chips are really good as well; I don't know what kind of seasoning they have but it definitely gives them an extra kick! Also, after nine the restaurant turns into a bar. It outdoor so really fun in the summertime, because even though it gets crowded Friday and Saturday nights, it doesn't feel claustrophobic like nearby Jimmie O's can sometimes.

the portions are a normal size (instead of the usually gordo plates you get at Mexican restaurants) food is good. atmosphere is nice. prices are pretty good too

En Fuego is always a great choice. Don't miss Tuesday Taco night, when they serve up a $4.00 mojito with fresh mint in a huge glass that is arguably the best drink being served anywhere at this price. This place also has great service, good food and an excellent location, right off of the 101 in Del Mar.

Great food and an even better atmosphere to get a drink in their downstairs bar. Go late and enjoy the crowd!
