Bali Hai Restaurant/Lighthouse

The famous Mai Thai and immaculate view makes this a great place to bring a date or out of towner's. I recommend calling beforehand to snag a window seat for a view of the harbor.

We have been going here for over 40 years and the place has new owners, but the Chicken of the Gods is better than ever!! The atmosphere & view are always wonderful with great service. LOVE THIS PLACE and travel 80 miles for them!!!

The food here was all right, it was a little too bland for me, but the view from this place is very nice.

I was not impress by the food at this place as excited as I was to go. The view is amazing for a bay view of San Diego. I would come here for drinks but dine elsewhere.

Yes, Bali Hai Restaurant has an impeccable view of San Diego bay,, but the buffet is seriously to die for!

Took some family and friends that were visiting to Bali Hai. They loved it as I did too. Food was exceptional and the scenery was outstanding. Great place for locals to go but a better place to take visitors.

Bali Hai been around a long time in San Diego and is still a great place for taking relatives from out-of-town and thos Mai Tais!
Good view of San Diego harbor and good ambiance too.

The food was fantastic, but watch out for the Mai Tais they are very, very strong. I had to ask for some juice to cut it back a little. On top of great food is one of the best views of the bay. Very romantic.

LKong before the now-trendy Thai joints arrived, bali Hai was here; gorgeous view of the San Diego skyline on the bay, with great atmosphere, and Mai Tais bar none!
Chicken of the Gods is tops!
Take your out-of-town visitors here or for special occasions, or when you want to feel like as a local, YOU are a tourist!

My Mom was in a wheelchair, and although this place is not handicapped assessible, the wait staff carried her and her chair up the steps into the restaurant!!! Talk about service! I don't even have to mention the Mai Tais, food etc.
