Lava Sport & Fitness

During a recent visit to San Diego, I had the opportunity to exercise at Lava on three different days. Each time the staff was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is an amazing facility with upscale classes, equipment, and very experienced staff. The Spinning classes were challenging and fun..especially on the Kaiser bikes. The Club is especially well maintained, super clean, and beautifully laid out! We are way behind here in New Jersey !! I can't wait to return to San Diego !!! Great job Lava !!

Lava fitness has turned out to be a great experience. The membership costs seemed to be steep for a gym, but I found out that it pays itself off with so many different classes offered each week. Normally I would be paying $20-40 PER class session and when participate in a few classes per month, the cost can add up. This is why I enjoy having boxing, cycling, and all the other classes included in a one time monthly fee.

joined lava fitness recently love the clean, friendly,supportive club . especially rodie i have had personal training time with him and hes the best, very comfortable to work with love it there so glad i can be a part. lisa

this place is awesome. the best gym around. very professional and extremely clean. I LOST OVER 30LBS WITH JUI JITSU AND MASTER INSTRUCTOR CADU. COME AND CHECK IT OUT.

Lava in Point Loma is the best gym in San Diego!! The equipment is new, the people are friendly, and the classes are fun! It's the cleanest gym I've been to. And it never gets too crowded.

This place has all you need to get in shape. From Hoops to boxing to great machines and weights. The options are amazing and fun. It's clean and friendly. I highly recommend this gym.

I've been a member at several gyms (24 Hour, Golds and Frogs) and this is my favorite. Sam's spin class is great and I love the Gravity, boxing and TRX classes which are included in your membership. I also love the high def TVs all around the gym, and the sauna and steam room.

I have two months to train for a major event and just had my first personal training session. It was an eye opener to see how much harder a trainer could push me than myself. I know I'm in good hands at Lava and need their collaboration and expertise to reach my goal. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and while they're giving you the beat down of your life will still make it fun. They know what being in shape means, I guess I didn't have a clue until yesterday It feels good to know that I have all the support and encouragement I need to take this as far as I can.

This is an immaculate , well thought out place to get your fitness on. The owner and trainers here are so helpful, PATIENT, and kind. I get alot of reassurance throughout the Kickboxing, Gravity, and Spinning class. This is not your typical yucky, car salesman gym, these people are here for you, to help you attain your goals, whip your a** into shape and they are your biggest cheerleaders! Everytime I walk through those doors I am greeted warmly by the front desk, this is always followed up with a nod from SAM, a follow up with Brody, and acknowlegement that I am here from all the trainers I can't say enough, THANKS GUYS!

LAVA is a great place to workout, take a class, or play basketball. Most importantly clean! The staff is helpful and always there to assist. Check it outit will be worth it.
