I bought an Omega online, after Leo Hamel couldn't match the price, but was w/in a few hundred $. The watch I bought online from a dealer (not Ebay) broke after the first week, despite appearing legit. Circled back to LH and got a great deal. Thanks Lisa!

I have purchased nearly every piece of jewelry and watch I own from Leo's. This goes back to the early 1980's. The company has gone thru some major changes in that time, with some growing pains, but they seem to get most everything right and I am happy to support them. Leo is a character too! he is very political and if you get him onto the subject of Congresswell watch out! But he's funny too! The sales people are very friendly and help you decide what to buy as opposed to trying to sell you for the sake of a sale. They also buy jewelry and watches and I recently turned a couple item I no longer used into cash. They were fair and I was happy. My latest purchase was probably the most surprising as I am an Internet buff. I wanted a diamond and several friends said, "You must buy on line. You will save money." Well, I spent several weeks search the web. When I found what I thought was the best deal I went in to see Lisa )Leo's sister). She ended up selling me the same grade diamond for about 5% more than the Internet. I was VERY happy. heck, I tip pretty girls 20% all the time for carrying food to my table so I felt paying 7% more for something as important as a diamond was actually a better deal than the Internet. I got "full service" help for "self pump" prices! And Lisa a nice looking lady herself! Moral of this story? You can waste a lot of time looking for "a deal" or you can just support a local business and get great service.

My fiance went to Leo Hamel to look for my engagement ring. He was very nervous and didn't know what he was looking for. He said he went to several other jewelers who didn't take any time to explain things to him, all they were interested in was the sale. Totally different experience at Leo Hamels, they took the time to explain everything to him and to help him with the biggest purchase of his life. And to top it off, I absolutely love the ring, it is exactly what I would have picked out for myself!!

I came to Leo Hamels on a whim, looking for a watch. to my surprise, i find hundreds of great looking watches! watches i havent even heard of. the two sales women who helped me were so knowledgeable!! i left excited about my purchase!! I'll be back, soon!!

The inventory changes all the time. That's great incentive for me to come in every week because everything thing they bring in looks so beautiful. I want to buy it all!

When I first walked into Leo Hamel I was greeted with a friendly smile and overwhelmed with the beauty of the store. I was really nice inside. Big cases full of great Watches, like Ball Watch, IWC, Glashutte and even Patek Phillipe. They even had the biggest display of Hearts On Fire Diamonds I had ever seen. If you haven't seen these diamonds they are just amazing. They sparkle like no other diamond does. SeriouslyThey Rock! My favorite watch brand is Ball, because of their significant story in American History. They are the standard of time on the Railroad and have been since the 1800's. You should come check this store out, even if it's for the free drinks and snacks.

I was concerned about buying my first expensive, non-Japanese watch online, so I was very happy to find this Mom and Pop, brick-and-mortar store not in the mall.

I like the knowledgeable and noninvasive style of Amanda and would buy from again.

I believe I paid retail. However I'm thrilled to have purchased a Swiss movement (mechanical), open back watch for this price (at about half of what I had budgeted for). The watch is very simple, very elegant and a perfect gift!

10 years ago I went into Leo Hamel's looking for an engagement ring. I gave Yoli my specifications on what I wanted. Although they didn't have anything in stock, she worked for 3 months to find me my diamond! She found exactly what I wanted and for a great price. This past month, was our 10 year anniversary, there was no question, Leo Hamels was the place I would find my anniversary gift. Again, she searched their inventory, matched 2 great stones for a set of earrings for my wife. The place is our place for life for fine jewelery

I bought my wedding ring at Leo Hamel and the diamond fell out on my wedding day. They sent me another ring which was sized by them and so badly misshapen it didn't fit. My THIRD replacement ring (I haven't even had my FIRST anniversary yet!) just lost a diamond! I took it to a different jewelry store for an opinion. I was told that the prongs were barely there and that the company was being cheap on gold to hold in the diamonds and that I would always have this problem. They also thought that I was grossly overcharged. When I contacted Leo Hamel they told me "diamonds don't POP out for no reason" and that they "sell that ring all the time and no one else complains", Bottom line before even SEEING the ring they blamed ME! This place tries to pose as high class, but don't be fooled. The staff will lose all class once they've collected their money. YES they are super wonderful when your looking.. but if you ever have a problem Lisa will be the biggest B you ever met.
