Rei Do Gado

I took my mom to Rei Do Gado on mother's day and we both loved it. They served authentic brazilian feijoada which is delicious. I love all the combination of meat they serve, and the brazilian flan is the best. Even when the price is expensive is totally worth it.

Rei Do Gado offers a great selection of grilled meats Brazilian style, hot off the grill served tableside. Go for lunch, it's less expensive.

Go to this place if you love meat! It's never ending and absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend skipping some meals that day. Lunch is a good value also if you're looking for something a bit cheaper.

The first time I experienced Rei Do Gado was as an office function. I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up at the very eclectic restaurant. Rei Do Gado is located in the heart of the gaslamp and just steps from Horton Plaza so parking wasn't a problem. The idea of the restaurant is there is a salad buffet and the waiters bring around scewers of very tender marinated meat. It's all you can eat so come hungry. The price is reasonable but if your looking for a bargain try the lunch menu. Drinks and desserts are extra but well worth the money. Try an imported Brazilian beer. My husband and I use every excuse we can to eat here. It's become a staple in our dining out options. You must try it.

A very good authentic Brazilian steak house. The salad bar is okay, but the meats are fantastic and the service is good. Definitely a must try!

My last trip to San Diego my family and I dinned at this restaurant. It is amazing! The food is delicious, the service is great and the atmosphere is delicious. The price is reasonable for a fancy restaurant and if you add in the people you meet there it is very authentic Brazillian type of place.

We vacationed this last week in Downtown San Diego (Gas Lamp Square). The Concierge at our Hotel recommended Rei Do Gado and boy was it awesome! My wife and I had never eaten Brazilian food. The salad bar was perfect, the meats where so full of flavor and tender. The service and food was impeccable. The piano player was playing some light classical. The atmosphere was perfect! It was a night to remember. The place is a must if you want Brazilian food.

Unending food is what you get if you come here. The salad bar is all right, but people mainly come here for the meat.
