Casa De Pico

this was my favorite restaurant when it was in old town. once it moved to the grossmont center, the food became a little too commercial. it used to be really authentic. the food is still good though and the chips and salsa and my favorite. also the drinks are really yummy. perfect for birthdays, groups, and happy hour!

You haven't lived in or visited San Diego until you have eaten at Casa De Pico. Try the Chimmy. It's great!

Visit old Mexico now in La Mesa. A great place for authentic Mexican food, and great Mexican ambiance. the margarita's are huge and the best in town. Easier to get to now, and more parking make it a better place to get together for a party or special occasion.

This is my favorite mexican place!! The happy hour is truely the bestgood drink specials and free food!! Not just chips and salsa (which they do have and it's yummy) but free hot food that they continue to fill up as it's eaten. Enchilada bakes, nachos, spicy wings, meatballs, and some awesome mini chimichangas. It goes from 3-7 or 8 and is a great place to meet, drink and eat!!

Since the move from Old Town, finding a seat is hard. Great food, good service. Parking can be a bit hard too, but well worth it. The atmosphere and staff are wonderful.

I've experienced a lot of different Mexican Restaurants in my life, even in Mexico. Authentically, Casa De Pico has to be one of my best experiences with customer service and great food. The mood is set for a wonderful date or dinner with a group of friends. The food is amazing!! Nothing else to say about that. I will continue my adventure in finding great mexican food, however, if I were to stop with Casa De Pico, I'd be satisfied.

Compared to the previous location in Old Town, the food here just does not seem to be up to quite the same standard. Also very noisy interior. Service was on the slow side. Didn't care for the dining experience overall and won't be returning, unfortunately.

Loved this place when it was in Old Town. Still good but not quite the same. Hard to find parking since BJ's is right next door. Missing a little ambience but margaritas are still good!

I used to love going to this place when it was in Old Town. Although it's now in Grossmont Center, I still enjoy going. I think the Old Town ambience added to this restaurant so I was slightly disappointed when it moved. Other than that, the food is excellent, the service is excellent, and it's reasonably priced. I'm a little disappointed that they're serving burgers now because it takes away from the authenticity of a mexican restaurant.

They always have a wait at dinner, but it goes quickly. Great lunch specials. The service is fast and friendly. Food is great and at a good value.
