I am very impressed with the way the fence turned out. I like the fact that they didn't try and take short cuts by using crappy materials, they lined the fence it looks very even all the way around, and even though it was 100% out they got the job done quick and professionally. Smith Fence said my job was too small, I needed 8 ft. of fence and my gate repaired. He recommended his helper Ricky for small jobs. Ricky gave me an estimate of $495. I asked how much of that was for material and he told me half. When I questioned the $250 in labor, he said he made $25/hr. I knew the job would not take 10 hrs! He then told me it was an additional $150 for the gate! I found someone else to do the job for $325. If they send Ricky over get a DETAILED estimate. I did not deal with Smith Fence but, they are the ones who recommended the helper.

Really great service all done from over the phone. Good Value, and total experience made easy. Would recommend to everyone. I have found a company for all my fencing needs in San Diego.

Our fence looks great & our neighbor agrees - Chris & Todd did a great job. Starting around 7:30am, they finished 105' in less than 6 hours, including the removal of the ratty, old fence. Also, Chris threw in some repairs on other sections around the yard - super nice!!

I got the name of Smith Fence Company from a neighbor who just used the company. I am so glad I did! They quoted me a price and came out 3 days later to tear down my old fence and install the new one. Extremely professional, good quality workmanship and went the extra mile to please me. Smith Fence did a great job on my neighbors and my fence. Chris was able to work his bid and his installation into our difficult time frame. He and his staff were able to do what they promised, and provided us with a fantastic looking fence in a very timely manner. I have no reservations in recommending them. Thanks gang, looks great!

We just wanted to let everyone know that this company is GREAT!!! Just recently we were hit with the high winds here in San Diego. We were in urgent need of having our fence replace after the winds blew it down. We had called several other companies to see if we could get them to come right away since we have two dogs. The only company that answered our call and was out there right away was Smith Fence. The owner was with us throughout the entire job. This was a plus since most companies send a crew out that doesn't speak english or they are not on the same page as the home owner. The entire Smith Fence crew was a pleasure to work with. And our fence looks AWESOME!!! Our neighbors were so impressed with their craftsmanship that they also are having their fence replace by Smith Fence. Thanks Smith Fence for taking care of us!!!
