Cafe On Park

I was born and raised in San Diego and I have yet to go to a better breakfast spot. Love their lunches too! Delish turkey sausage! Huge man-hole size pancakes with fun original flavors like captain crunch, perfect eggs and breakfast potatoes!!! YUM YUM YUM!!! For lunch the burrito is HUGE and scrumptious! The tuna melt is the best I've had.. and so is the mac and cheese- very creamy and decadent! This place is the BEST!!!

I love the breakfasts here. All of the dishes are wonderful (at least the ones I've tried) and the service is very good as well, though be prepared to wait as it frequently gets really busy.

Visited San Diego around Labor Day and stayed near the Park. Kept driving one morning because it looked like it might be too long to get seated. How happy we were that we decided to give it another try the next day. Yummy! Porridge? I haven't heard of that since Goldilocks and The Three Bears. It was, as the title says, fabulous! Hearty, healthy, with many flavors meshed together. Not too sweet, beautifully presented and enough for two meals.like the pancake, which filled the WHOLE plate. I can't ever remember asking for a "breakfast doggie bag". It was just as good the next morning. Every bite was savored. The service was also outstanding. Hope the delivery was easy and all is well with the baby. !!Highly recommend!!

You get lots of food for what you pay for here. The servers are extremely friendly and it makes the atmosphere so much better.

The owners and servers are really friendly, and that boosts the experience. The portions were large enough to need doggy bags, and the food was thoroughly enjoyable.

It's a popular place but the turnover is pretty quick (I'm typically not one to wait when I'm ready to grub). The place itself is very cute and quaint. The menu is extensive, the portions are huge, the prices are reasonable and the service is on point.

I love this place. Large portions and top notch food. The staff and owner are very friendly. When friends come in town to visit I always take then to a hearty breakfast at Cafe on Park. Cant wait to go back!

This place is awesome it's like eating at a friends house on the front patio. The food is delicious. The service is wonderful. On weekends there can be a little bit of a wait but hey that is to be expected for a place with great food. The only down side is when your outside and it is a hot day there does tend to be some pesky flies. There is inside seating though if you think that could be an annoyance to you.

The main reason I love Cafe on Park is because of their #6 breakfast. It is a Sundried tomatoes, basil & goat cheese scramble served with cafe potatoes, fresh fruit, homemade jam & brown bread and I must have had it at least 30 times by now!! Another reason is the griddle cakes are excellent! Where else can you get a 16" diameter Banana-chocolate griddle pancake with maple caramel? Don't think about it anymore just go there and enjoy it.

I've been to Cafe on Park many times, although only for breakfast. The pancakes are the best I've ever had and absolutely huge! Be sure to come hungry. There is also almost always a wait on the weekends, unless you can get there right when they open. But even if you do have to wait, it is well worth it. I do think it is a bit on the pricey side though, especially for breakfast, but again, the taste makes it worth it.
