India Princess

The India Princess in Hillcrest is my favorite Indian restaurant to go to. The staff here is REALLY nice! They do have a buffet, but I really like to order dishes at Indian restaurants.

Garlic naan - can't have Indian food without this! Yummy!
Madras chicken curry - my favorite curry place at every single Indian restaurant I've tried. It's soooo good!
Saag Paneer - Great vegetarian dish and it really tasty. The cheese and spinach mix is definitely a must try.

the seating area looks small, but they have longer tables in the back. Also, lighting is a little dim, but I guess that's not a big deal. Adds to the restaurant feel, maybe?

This place had really good service and our waiter really knew what he was talking about when i asked for suggestions. The Onion Kulcha was a great upgrade instead of just getting the Nan. Pretty good prices and the food was great too.

Had lunch and enjoyed the meal.
The staff was good.
The seating cramped.
Walked there from the office so parking wasn't an issue.

I liked the food here, the selection was different from what I'm used to for Indian. We had a large party and the service was quite slow, which surprised me.

this is another indian restaurant that served mainly punjabi food but the prices are relatively cheaper than other indian restaurants. the paneer masala and naan is a good option.

We usually go to Tapas Picasso next door but have seen this place and decided to try it. It was the worst service I have ever had and I would not take home the stone hard lamb to my dog. It was inedible. The service was deplorable and over priced for what you don't receivedsave your money and your time!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! Everyone who wants to try good Indian food in San Diego, should go to this place!

The food is fabulous, the staff friendly and the environment great! We have never had a bad meal there. Highly recommended to any Indian food lover!
