Allman Family Auto

The thing I like most about Allman Family Auto is that they give honest, up-front price quotes (no hidden fees or fake costs). I also like the fact that Mike, explains exactly what is wrong, answers all my questions, and gives me options. My car was leaking fluid bad and it would have cost 800.00+ to replace the malfunctioning heater. Mike told me they could bypass it for much, much less - I'd just be w/out a heater. Seeing how my car is an old '93 chevy beater (not worth the expensive heater), and I live in San Diego (don't NEED a heater), I was relieved that I had a cheaper option. He also keeps me up-to-date on what my vehicles need maintenance-wise, but I make the decisions when to have the work done. Well worth the money for peace of mind and quality parts and service!

I have to say, that after reading most of these reviews, what people have to say is exactly correct. Allman Family Auto is great! They provide excellent service and advice at a very reasonable price. Its refreshing to finally find an honest mechanic in San Diego. Thanks again Mike!

I was stuck in El Cajon and luckily found Allman Family Auto. I ended up having a number of mechanical problems with my car. Not only did they completely repair my engine, they did it sooner than I thought they would and their charge was very reasonable. I tell all my friends about Allman Family Auto!

Allman Family Auto is, bar none, the best place to take your vehicle when you have a problem. They go above and beyond to make it a friendly and extremely helpful atmosphere. Don't waste money elsewhere when you can spend wisely and save with Allman!

You can trust Mike in every way. For instance i took my car to him because my rear view mirror had fallen off. Mike told me it would be cheaper if i fixed it myself. He told me what to get and how to do it and even loaned my the necessary tools to do it properly. If you need a mechanic go to Allman Family Auto!

We seen great reviews of Allmam Family Auto on web in late 2007 so gave them a try. Best thing we ever did we won`t be going any were else.

I've been looking for a good trustworthy shop out here for 5 years now,and I've FINALLY found one. Mike and his guys are fantastic! Quality work, KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXTREMELY fair prices, and will NOT try to sell services you don't need. I could go on and on. Thanks again Mike!

So I go to Firestone because my A/C isn't working. They tell me I have to replace the compressor and relays and other stuff and it'll be $1000. I go to Mike's and it turns out to be a $70 electrical relay. Plus, I had a rough ride and thought my shocks were bad Mike let me know my shocks were good and suggested new tires instead (a service he knows I'll have to pay someone else for). I am kicking myself for all the times I went elsewhere. Mike is my man and he should be yours too.
