I am a highly experienced professional nanny who has lived in San Diego for almost 5 years now. In this time I have met with about 8 or 9 different nanny staffing agencies. Seaside Nannies is by far the best agency, which is why I have chosen to work exclusively with Dara. Upon meeting Dara I immediately liked her and knew I had finally met a superb agency to work with. Being a nanny herself, Dara has a unique perspective that the other nanny agencies just don't have. She understands completely not only what the families need in a childcare provider but also what we as nannies require for a happy full-filling job. I have been out of a job for about 3 months now. Before I met Dara I was going through 3 other different agencies. When I would go out and interview with other families I was lost.I didn't know what to expect and I felt so unprepared. Families didn't have enough information about me and they were left clueless. Then if I didnt get the first job agencies stopped calling and it was becoming so frustrating. I found the light and met Dara. Meeting Dara for the first time was such a relief. Dara encourages her nannies to prepare a nanny portfolio which is full of all of my important information in which a family looks for. Dara gave me my first assignment, and I felt at ease with my portfolio, which was given to the family to keep. It made the interview process so easy and left us both satisfied. I was able to leave the family knowing all about me, and even felt a perfect connection between us. A week later they decided to choose me to be their nanny. It was a perfect match and I thank Dara for preparing me. Thanks Dara you are awesome!!!!!!!

I met Dara about a month ago when I was looking for some short term childcare. That need grew into full-time nanny care. As a single father of two young kids, I needed an agency that would listen to my needs and execute those requirements professionally. All we can say after using two of the "biggest" services in town is that we have been continually disappointed at the level of services we have received. Dara not only came over, but she actually paid close attention to out needs and wants in a nanny. She personally did everything to ensure not only the safety of our household by getting her nannies fingerprinted before they came over to meet us, but she also made sure the candidates she sent were totally appropriate! I can tell you from experience, if you are looking for a nanny, Seaside the only agency I would ever use!

I have been a nanny for the last 12 years and I have had the opportunity to use several of the agencies in San Diego. I have never been on an agency interview that was more thorough, friendly, and professional then I did when I met with Dara from Seaside Nannies. When I had learned from my roommate that Dara goes to all the houses to screen the families, I was a bit skeptical, because no agency in SD does that, but she does! She understands a nanny's point of view, and is super knowledgeable about family's and children. Dara has one thing in which many of these other agencies are lacking and that is simply integrity and that is what sets her apart from the rest. If you really want to be "taken care of" by an agency that you decide to use, Seaside Nannies is the best of the best.

Just thinking about finding the right nanny to watch my 3 month old daughter overwhelmed me. After meeting Dara, I felt a sense of relief immediately. Dara's experience, work ethic and personality were just what we needed to connect us with the right nanny. Since Dara came to our house and met our family, she was able to find the right match for us right away (within a week!). Our nanny has been with us for a month and she is perfect for our family. Dara has been a great and speedy help for us when we were searching for the right nanny. She helped to coordinate the available staff for interview in order for us to make our best decision on several different occasions. Her attention to detail and commitment to children has helped us in every step of the way. We found Dara word of mouth from a friend that had used her services about a year ago. (Their nanny is still with them and very much a part of their family) Our friends were so impressed by Dara's enthusiasm and opinion, that we decided to use her service, after researching the other nanny agencies in town. My wife and I decided that out of all the services, Dara called us back immediately, and had more to offer than the other agencies, especially her background and knowledge (we have a son that thinks he rules the world!). We decided to move forward and have her come meet our family. She sent us over four candidates that were all absolutely fantastic. She suggested to do trial with all four candidates to make sure we were the right fit with one another and did not pressure us at all. We ultimately made a decision, and could not be happier! We were really surprised at the level of service, and the amount of attention Dara gave us, but then again, we would not expect anything else, especially since she was so highly recommended by our friends. So in return, we would like to also tell San Diego, that Dara and her Seaside Nannies are a wonderful service to use.

We relocated from the NYC area 8 months ago. Due to our hectic work schedules, I knew that we would need a nanny once we arrived in SD. In the past I have worked with many agencies in NYC, due to the 3 wonderful boys I have and their busy lives! I wanted to make sure that once we arrived in SD we would have everything in place and calling Dara from Seaside Nannies was the best thing I did!! Not only did she find us the perfect fit for our boys and their busy after school schedules, but she also helped direct me to a whole new "locals" perspective for my children! I can't write enough wonderful things about Dara and how she runs her agency, I really felt she went above and beyond our expectations as a nanny agency owner! She really cares about us! She is much more than a nanny agency, she is a professional SERVICE in which she makes sure her clients are taken care of the way they should be!
