Addison at the Grand Del Mar

We stayed at the Grand Del Mar over Labor Day weekend. We were extremely impressed with the quality of service, even during what was presumably one of the busiest weekends of the year.

If you can afford it, excellent food and service, great ambience, wonderful wine list. Decent sommelier to pair wines with your meal.

I was skeptical that this would be anything more than an overpriced meal with the same menu as all other upscale restaurants in town, but it was worth the risk. The atmosphere is sophisticated, the wait staff is professional if not totally coordinated, the wine sommelier is adequate, but really the food was the star. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, the food is outstanding and the wine list has over 2000 selections. It is worth every penny on a special occasion or just for whenever.

This is a great restaurant. Where the $15 price came from is beyond me..this is a pricey place to eat.but worth it.
