San Diego Movers -- Gold Coast Moving

The movers were prompt, professional and the pricing was up front with no hidden costs. All the promises of the service were kept. They had all of the dollys and blankets for the furniture. Also I requested protection for the hardwood floors as I my new condo had hardwood and they brought some floor protection for that as well. We had all of our posessions packed in boxes and marked for where they were to be dropped off at the condo. They put everything where we had marked on the boxes and only one of the boxes appeared to have a damaged corner but nothing inside the box was broken or damaged. All of our posessions were delivered without damage. We will be using them again to pick up and deliver items from storage to our new condo within the next few months. Our experience with this company was satisfactory.

My experience with them was HORRIBLE. They broke things of mine, and they were so slow my girlfriends and I could have moved our stuff faster on our own. In addition they got in a fight with my 80 year old neighbor, and the owner was the rudest person I have ever spoken to. My advice: use a different company.

I have used Gold Coast Moving twice in the last month (June 18th and July 3rd). Once for an intown move and the second time to unload and ABF container from back east. They have been extremely professional, courteous, responsive, and did a great job. The crew showed up on time, worked very diligently (and quickly), and took very good care of our stuff. Five and a half hours total to move a four-bedroom house from one spot in San Diego to another. I would recommend them to anyone and think they are a great organization. Good job, Gold Coast Moving, and keep up the good work!

Amongst all the 5 star reviews, this one will probably stick out like a sore thumb. But it's important for anyone considering hiring these guys to know that things can go wrong with anybody. We hired these guys about a month ago when we had to move our stuff from our house to a storage place, after we saw the excellent feedback online. Jordan came a week earlier and was courteous, professional and gave fairly accurate estimate. However on the day of the move, everything seemed to go wrong. First came the flat-out, 'not my job' kind of refusal to disconnect the washer/dryer which Jordan had promised would be done. It took a stress inducing call to Jordan and some back and forth to sort out. Then came the silent, not talking with a straight face, not taking any instruction whatsoever, sort of hostile behavior from the two guys who were moving the stuff. I'm a very hands off, do your thing, non-meddling person. What little I had to tell was ignored or barely acknowledged. When I asked them to be careful with the red X marked fragile boxes, one of them said, "if we didn't pack 'em, we don't really care". I was shocked and taken aback and decided not to interact with them after that. After that, they wouldn't make eye contact, were openly disrespectful and what's worse we never found out what their problem was till the end. We just hope you're not unlucky enough to end up with these guys on the day of the move. Nobody deserves that.

I used Gold Coast MOving for my first move a year ago, and then again this year. I recommended them to my roommate, and she used them too. I am just about to give their number to my brother for him to use. They are pleasant, do a great job, cognizant of not damaging walls and boxes and furniture. They're quick and polite- and a great deal for the price when moving within the city. I have never had any scheduling problems.

I used GCM for my local move, from a 3/2 to a 3/2 home. 4 guys and one truck got the job done in a bit under 3 hours, start to finish. These guys are professionals that seem to strive for quality and quickness. I have used them once before, and I'll use them again. -Phil

I have finally found my moversand you are talking to a girl who has moved A LOT! These guys are the best. Not only were they priced right and on time, they were actually friendly! They showed up exactly when they said they would. They moved everythingeven things that probably weren't packed the way they should have beenand they did it sooo quickly even I couldn't keep up. I will be recommending them to everyone!

Great, courteous, careful, efficient and professional only begin to describe the positive experience I had with Gold Coast Moving. They had everything packed in the truck quickly, followed my instructions to the letter, and everything got to its destination with not a scratch on anything. This was a tricky move, with some things going from a 3rd floor condo Hillcrest to a 2nd floor loft Downtown, and the rest went out to my son's condo in PB. Yes, we will use you again. Dan, Torrey and Steve were just what anyone could ask for in a mover.
