Jason was very knowledgable and explained the process thoroughly to us. His work was impeccable and you couldn't even tell that there was a repair in the area, it looked better than new!!

We found Jason on Kudzu about a year ago while looking for someone to remodel an attic area and build a nursery for our baby. He has done an amazing job, worked hard to finish even few days earlier than promised, suggested us several smart and nice looking solution along the way. we could have not been happier with the results! More recently we had to call him because of a flooding that had caused major damage to our kitchen and living room area he came right away, completed all the remodeling as soon as possible, suggested us several improvements and overall did a fantastic job, making the whole experience as little painful as possible! Thanks Jason!!!

Jason and crew did a great job creating a outdoor heaven for us. Job was under budget and really added to the value to my home. Jason gets first call on any construction here always a great job.

Trade Winds did a remodel job for a room that I wanted made into a wine loft. The project needed new windows, hardwood flooring, custom wainscoting, chair railing, and triple crown moulding not to mention wine racks and custom paint. Trade Winds handled all aspects of the job quickly and efficiently. I really enjoyed the "one stop shopping" experience with the company and would recommend them to others.

Trade Winds recently did a major remodel of our master bathroom. Jason and all of his subs were always there putting in a full day, left the site clean every day, and were very respectful of our home. Jason was back promptly for final punchlist work until all was perfect. The result of their work will be featured in the Feb '08 edition of San Diego Magazine! Thank you, Jason.

It's hard to find good contractor's. Trade Winds is great! I've used them for general construction on numerous occasions and just recently completed a major remodel of my home in Carmel Valley - looks beautiful, outstanding work - keep it up!

My kitchen lighting was very old and out dated. I also did not have any texture on the walls or the ceiling in the kitchen. I hired Trade Winds Construction to make the lighting in my kitchen modern looking and put texture on the walls and ceiling. Jason did a fabulous job in my kitchen. He removed all the old lighting and replaced it with can lights, a beautiful sky light and two ceiling fans. He also did a wonderful job at texturing the entire kitchen. I just love the new look of my kitchen and Jason did the job very quickly and I might add very neatly!!!

I had a small remodel, that quickly turned into an overwhelming project. That is when Trade Winds Construction came to my rescue through a referral. I meet with Jason Blake, who took time to explain all my options, what codes I needed to follow and what budget I would need. Jason continued to be a great communicator throughout the entire job. As I made changes and had ideas, he was always up front about the two most important factors-time & money. I will always work with Trade Winds-his company stanards are stellar. And is this company keep a clean work space, a bit fanatic!

After moving to Carlsbad from the east coast, we did not have a "go-to" contractor for our home addition. Jason's name came recommended to us from a friend. I had asked him along with six other contractors to bid on my project. Jason's bid was not only tied for the best (and about 30% less than the third place bidder) but his knowledge, expertise, and customer service seemed miles beyond every other contractor. He began working on our home addition project on January 3rd and I told him that this project needed to be completed by early February. I am writing this review from my NEW office on February 10th. (This addition was finished over a week ago!) Although Jason did much of the work himself, he was not bashful to admit when he needed to bring in an expert for various jobs like concrete, framing, electrical, and drywall. His subcontractors have all worked for Jason many times before and were top notch. I also appreciated that Jason worked along side (and supervised) his subcontractors. He was "on the job" daily from morning to night and would come on weekends if necessary. I would highly recommend Trade Winds Constriction. This company built me the most beautiful kitchen and entertainment center I could ever imagine. Tradewinds construction treated me with the utmost respect as a client. They helped my visions come to light, with the impeccable quality of craftmanship and design. I definetely know who to hire when I need repairs around the house or even a room addition.
