Plush Puppies Kennel & Daycare Center

Whenever I go out of town I arrange for my English Bulldog to stay with Plush Puppies. She is always beside herself with joy when I pick her up. They really know how to treat your pooch. Before I had a pup of my own, my Mother would send our family dogs to Plush Puppies. Same response every time, an absolutely elated animal. Plush Puppies has been taking care of my dogs for my entire life, I wouldnt intrust their care with anyone else.

I am very picky with my two dogs, and I physically toured the "best" dog boarding facilities around San Diego, and I can vouch that no other company knows dogs better than Catz and Chris, (can you believe some places charge EXTRA for walks, and refuse to let you leave their food, toys, or blankets?!). Both of mine are rescues; one was abused when she was little so Catz and Chris worked with her (dog therapy- and she needed it!) until she was comfortable free-roaming with the other dogs. After their stay she was a totally new dog- a little social butterfly!
As for the facility itself, it doesn't get any better than Plush Puppies: Big open grass yard for the lil' furballs to chase eachother around in the sunshine, plenty of trees (a MUST according to my lil' boy), a water fountain, puppy pool, and lil cubbies for them to curl up for a nap when they get tired- according to my dogs, it doesn't get any better! I was jealous when I dropped them off for my/their vacation. Bottom line is, whenever I go on vacation, in order for me to fully relax and enjoy it I need to know my dogs are having as great of time as I am, so I will ONLY be checking my dogs for a stay at the Plush Puppies resort!

I thought that PLush Puppies is great My family and I started off taking my dog to 4 Paws boarding and we thought it was pretty good but we were still looking for another boarding place, and then we found plush puppies. So we tried it out and we loved it! But it was actually it was quite interesting because the first time we went it was like they treated the dogs like people!! I thought it was pretty cool. So now we dont even think to bring our do anywhere but Plush Puppies.

My husband and I have brought our dog Bea to Katz and Chris since she was a puppy. They have been great with her and every time they pick her up she is soooo excited! Great place for boarding and day care. We love it!

This place is wonderful! Both Cats and Chris were so wonderful w/ my dog. Although my lab is not the most social with other dogs, they worked with her and had great patience and understanding. The layout of the area is great - plenty of room for dogs to play. The sleep area was clean and plenty of room for bigger dogs like mine to sprawl out while they sleep. I will definitely take her back on our next vacation!

I checked this place out because I've heard great things. However, this was not the case for me. I brought my lab there the initial screening and his hair was standing up (showing aggression. I think it's more nerves b/c he has NEVER shown agression and his hair stands up like that all of the time! I do understand how it is usually a sign of aggression though but he was fine with the other dogs there). So they weren't too sure of him and wanted to see him again while I didn't stay. So the next weekend I dropped him off for 20 mins and the lady says, oh we normally charge $20 for this. WHAT!!!??!!! You require this screening and you're gonna charge me!! I don't think so. They didn't tell me they charge for this when we made plans to bring him back for the drop off and I don't carry cash with me. I picked him up 20 mins later and never called them back.

This dog sitting service is a perfect dog sitting service. The dogs have so many toys to play with. They love it.

OMGKatz & Chris are FAB! They have taken care of my most precious one since I got him. It is Giz's home away from home. When the fires were near, they kept him. I was out of town for 30 days over the holidays with a death and an illness in the family and they took care of him. There is nothing they don't do for my little guy. I can go away and know that he is well cared for and he loves the other dogs (especially Dogala). They truly have big hearts and are doing what they were made to do. Don't let me get started on the puppy limo

If you love your dog or cat please do not take them here. My boyfriend and I boarded our small dog here for ten days while we were out of the country. When I came by for an interview and to drop our little guy off they were VERY friendly. But when we picked up our dog they met us outside. As soon as we saw him we noticed the fur on his neck rubbed off. Then the owner made small comments complaining about our dog. She made excuses for it and then grabbed our dog's application sheet (our copy) out of our hands. Basically they tied our dog up to a post and he rubbed his neck raw because he wanted to play with the other dogs. Then they took all proof away from us that he stayed there. Our dog is very playful and loving, I trust him with kids of all ages. Please never take your dog or cat here! They only care about the money and not our little loved ones.

I left Kahlua at Plush Puppies and she did great. First I met with Catz and then did an overnight to make sure Kahlua would be okay while I was on vacation. Kahlua was so enthusiastic when I picked her up -- telling me all about her stay and running and playing. Catz and Chris are unbelieveably great.
