Thanks, Dr. Brown, for providing a caring, relaxed atmosphere in order for me to get over my nerves! Dr. Brown always make sure that my overly sensitive teeth concerns are taken care of, along with hygenist, marlene. KUDOS to the entire office!

I called their office and ask if they will see patients right away and do not make them wait long. The person answered yes.

I went to my appointment on time and no one was there but the door was open. After calling out for someone for 5 minutes, someone came up to the counter. She gave me paperwork to fill out and I completed it quickly. I waited 40 minutes and finally got to see someone and they had me watch a video. They examined me and told me what I needed. Plus that I would be prescribed a special toothpaste.

When I went to counter they worked on their price sheet of how much it would cost. They gave me their prices. I asked if they would give me a prescription for the special toothpaste, they said no I had to buy from them at their inflated price.

I thought maybe it was just the office staff and the dentist would want to know this. So I politely ask to have the dentist call me. When he called he just said we don't want you as a patient. Wow, if you question their unethical practice they don't want you.

I say, avoid this place at all cost!

This is the worst dental office and staff that I have ever experienced. My teeth are far from perfect so they made several comments to me about how I should be embarrassed to smile and how much more attractive I would be if I had my teeth pulled out and replaced with a brige. I agreed to have my four front teeth removed and replaced. They worked up my cost (after my insurance) the cost came to $5000. I expressed that the amount was a lot less than I was anticipating and was very happy. I signed the paperwork and scheduled my next appt. to start the procedure. Thirty minutes later they called me and said that they realized they made a mistake on the pricing after I had mentioned that it was less expensive than I thought and after they reviewed the services it was actually going to be $11000 my cost out of pocket. That seemed more than ridiculous to me and very suspect. I cancelled my appt and have not been back. Also, prior to this I had a deep gum cleaning procedure on all four quadrants. My out of pocket cost was close to $1500. My mom has the same insurance as me and went to another dentist for the same procedure and it cost her $250. I believe they are unfair with their pricing and try to get as much out of you as possible in addition to making you feel bad about yourself so you have more work done. Do yourself a favor and do not go this dental office.

But Carlsbad 7 Days made it bearable! Everyone was so friendly, and made me feel welcome. The exam was easy and fast. I love the flat screen tvs with head phones! They were able to do my exam and cleaning in one day, which wasn't scheduled. They didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need.

I highly recommend them!
