Needless/poor surgery
A year ago I had two dometicated feral cats neutered. I had to wait two weeks for the appointment, the job was done sloppy, incisions were sutured badly. Recently the family found a perious 6 month cat that we took in and fell in love with as did our neighbor. We named her Mele ( Hawain for honey) because of her disposition and amber marking. Brought her down for neutering, gave her the works chip and shots; took her home (incision this time was done superbly), they said the would administer Advantage, they did not; wife had to go back cost $52, now its useless to us because we had to put her down because when we brought her back 10 days after surgery they told us she had cancer and lukemia. Wasted money unnescessary surgery, and most painfully the emotional devastation my family and neighbor could have been mitigated up front. In my opinion to do surgery and not bother to discover the cancerous lump in that same area is inexcusable, its cruel to the cat and us, to have done that intentionaly, perhaps just to pocket the money for spaying and then turn around and tell us she has cancer.

The Best Vet in town
I have been taking all my pets as well as dogs I helped out when I worked for a rescue org. The shot clinic is the best idea for when I was on a tight budget. The staff knows me and my dogs by name. We have received the best care and advice over the years and I would recommend Dr. Henderson and her staff to anyone. The only inconvenience is that parking is tight sometimes in the parking lot of the mall. Otherwise, I trust them completely. The doctors always do follow-up calls to find out how my animals are doing after treating them when they are ill. I really appreciate that personal care. Thanks.

Worst Place Ever!
This vet seems reasonable but do be mistaken. I brought two cats in to have them spayed. One cat had the stiches coming out. I called when I was at home. I was told that the next appt would be that evening. What happened to emergency care?? So I brought my cat in and they told me it was going to be a small charge. I paid $117 to have her spayed and $250 for them to fix the stitches. WTF. I paid $367 to have one cat spayed. They lie and not caring!

I always recommend them !
I have been using this clinic for years! They know and my kitties by name. Dr. Henderson is a wonderful vet!I trust all the vets and staff.Vicente has taken care of my cats since they day they were born when he found them abandoned in the roof of the old office.(13 yrs ago) I always been satisfied with the service and care my animals receive.Everyone treats my cats with gentleness and compassion. The Doctors are honest and give an estimate of cost before they treat an animal. They give me realistic options on their care.I have never felt pressed to do unnecessary tests to run up the bill. Dr. Henderson calms my fears when my cats get sick. The drs. and staff have been emotionally suportive and compassionate when we had to make difficult decisions about "end of life" care.

DO NOT TRUST THIS VET!
My dog got too much medication by the staff and got very sick.Dr Henderson did nothing about it. Just like the other bad review, the staff and more importantly the doctor do not communicate with pet owners and did not rectify the problem. Looks like many mistakes are made and they do not accept responsibility. The inexpensive service will cost you more in the end. I guess you get what you pay for. I wish I could tell everyone what awful service I received but if I save one helpless animal it will be worth it.

While we greatly respect the right to free speech afforded us in this great country, we feel it unfortunate that individuals who feel they have an agenda can sign up under different screen names and leave comments just to try and defame someone. We are convinced that this message was left by the same individual below who left the negative comment and is upset. We will have the Kudsu crew check this out. We want to thank all our clients for trusting us with their pet's health! That's what we're all about.

A great value for pet vaccines.
We decided to try a new vet when we picked up a new puppy just over a year ago. Telegraph Canyon's vets had been recommended to us and we have not looked back! All their staff has treated our (now) dogs very well, putting them at ease, almost like one of their own. The added bonus of their inexpensive vaccine clinics is great, especially with two young dogs that needed all their shots.

overall a great place!!!
I took my pet there (again) for a routine exam and she needed a couple shots too, the lady at the desk said hi as soon as i came in, and it was only a short wait to be put in a room. The doctor was WONDERFUL!!!! She took care of my baby as it was her own!!! but my only complaint was the person who put me in a room and then came back to go over the prices, i dont know if she is a tech or what she is, all i know is that she had NO people skills AT ALL!!!she was RUDE!! She had short dark hair, dark make up, and tattoos (stars.. i think)and a Halloween scrub every time we go in! i love the rest of the staff but she is so rude i almost dread going and it wasn't a one time thing either!! that's the worse part! I love MOST of the staff at telegraph canyon vet hosp. i would HIGHLY recommend avoiding that one person though, she definitely dampers the whole experience!!

Good pet care
I was referred to Telegraph Canyon AMC when I adopted a shelter dog. They took care of the neutering. They were friendly, knowledgable and explained all aftercare to me. They will be performing the upcoming surgery on the dog.
