Buvel AAMCO Group- Lemon Grove

We took our cavelier on May 1st and ended walking in LG waiting to get a call. I eventually called at 2:30 Jimmy said no news he would call. Not trusting him at that went back at 3pm. Mechanic explained problem to him while he was texting on the phone I watched minutes later he then told me.(i guess he had to finish his texting). That there was something wrong with the rebuilt that they would have to keep it and have rebuilt agian. Said it would be ready by May 8th. Jimmy never called we called again around 3pm. Jimmy says they have not recieved the new trans. and they have barley taken out the trans. Is now saying that there are other problems with car that are causing the problems and yet never bothered to call to let us know all last week. Did not even get a paper orginally of what they were going to do. Now don't what is being done and if it is going to fall under the warranty. Were a military and are spending what little we have to rent a vehicle while they have our car. Jimmy has lost respect for cumstomer and the value of their time. Do not go there, I'm filling a reprt w/Consumer Affairs w/the State Board, and the BBB. Will also look into media attention on the this issue. No one should have to deal with this

Look at the picture, It's the company writiing reviews for themselves. The same people in the link that sent you here. I wish I had more space to complain about this horible horrible company but Google seach AAMCO complaints and you'll find a wealth of info there, keep in mind those are just the few who took time out of their busy schedule.

I recently took my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am to Aamco-Lemon Grove and was thoughly pleased with the service. The customer service rep, Jimmy Allen, was both courteous and informative in carrying out his job. He and the sevice tech, Sammy, did an excellent job in properly diagnosing the problem and getting the problem repaired as quickly as possibly, while providing continuous updates. They are an asset to your staff and I will be returning to you for future service.

I recommend this shop to everyone! Jimmy is honest - no, really! They don't try to sell you stuff you don't need; their prices are fair; and did I mention they're honest?? They offer a wide range of services, too. Call before you go, thoughthey're really busy, which is a great reference in itself. They offer free diagnostics, too.

I needed transmission work on a 2000 Camry after only 65K. Robbyn (gen ngr) patiently answered all my Qs and worked diligently with my insurance to have them reconsdier the failure as a result of a recent accident. Bob (the owner) also called on my behalf and eventually the insurance compnay found in my favor. THANK YOU AAMCO!!!!

Went in for a new clutch and told we needed the new brake pads and the roters turned. We agreed. They had the car for two days. Clutch was fine but turned roters aren't supposed to make a sound (which we had none to begin with)but our brakes made a noise after they were worked on. We were told that was normal and it took a second visit and a complaint for them to resurface the roters. A couple of days later the sound came back.

Brought my car in thinking the worst with the transmission and Jimmy and staff made sure I was up and running in 3 hours tops, great service, and even saved some money I recommend anyone who wants quality service to come to this location, I know I will!

I received fast and courteous service; Jimmie and the staff were very knowledgable and didn't try to con me. I also received a reasonable quote which was far less than I would have paid by taking it to a car dealer. I'll be a repeat customer for all my future automotive needs. Double A HONK!! HONK!! M C O
