Worst moving experience of my life

Despite claiming to be a moving company and not a broker, Move Plus sub-contracted my cross country move to a different carrier (they have so far claimed to be unable to provide me the name of the sub-contracted carrier). When it was time to deliver my items, the sub-contracted driver was verbally abusive and threatened not to give me my items unless I either conformed to his exact delivery schedule (9 am on a workday) or paid him $840 extra ($105/hour for 8 hours). I called Move Plus many times to try to get them to control the behavior of the sub-contracted driver or otherwise remedy the situation, but their response was minimal and ineffectual. I strongly suggest not using this company because the experience of having someone threaten not to deliver your items (unless you pay them several hundred extra) is extremely upsetting.
