Uninformed repair work...

The guys at Swifttech were great, the chopped the labor fee, and dropped other fee's on my repair work. The swapped the motherboard and processor out for me. In the process it was determined that the HDD was going bad. They took the liberty to replace it (for free), however did not inform me of the situation. All my pre-installed programs from HP were lost, along with the reboot partition. I have no clue as to what personal files were on the HDD, but since I could not think of anything off hand I did not request a data recovery (even though they did not even offer it). I checked through HP's website, and can request a reboot disk, which will cost me just in $19. Swifttech will not pay for it, even though they did this work with out my authorization. Even though the service was ok, the HDD replace/reboot with out my knowledge is unacceptable. I will NOT be returning.
