Fast, professional and friendly - excellent work!

Pete from KMP Plumbing did a fantastic job with a major toilet tank rebuild. We called KMP after a bad experience with another plumber (DC Plumbing), and what a difference! KMP Plumbing was so professional and timely...in fact, Pete (who is the nicest guy to boot) even showed up early! He quickly diagnosed the issue, called to find the parts, and immediately drove away to pick them up. He returned and finished the job; all in less than 2 hours. KMP even gave us a discount on the service "just because". We were very impressed - our search for a trustworthy and reliable plumber is over!

Blew us off - our job was not important enough

We had DC Plumbing come out to repair a toilet that was having problems. Three months later the problems returned, so we called them back, but they never came. They tried telling us Kohler toilets were inferior products and it was probably cheaper to replace the entire toilet ($600!) rather than just the internal parts ($50). When we called DC Plumbing on a Monday, they told us they would come on Tuesday or Wednesday. When no one showed by late Wednesday, we called back and they told us Friday morning. We called again on late Friday morning when no one showed, and they never returned the call. We chose DC Plumbing based on the positive reviews here, however our experience was quite the opposite. It is incredibly inconvenient to have a toilet out of commission...if they would have just told us our job was too small, we could have gotten someone else much faster and saved a lot of time and effort.

High quality but too expensive

The Drake Center is a good business with high quality standards. We can trust them with our pet. However, their high prices are making us consider looking elsewhere. Recently, there have often been hidden charges they didn't tell us about ahead of time.

Great value and hard workers

They have a great deal on their monthly $24.99 car wash card - unlimited car washes! The workers are great and very hard working.

Good value

They are the only local car wash that doesn't charge more if you don't want to send your car through the track (the car has low profile tires and we don't want to scratch the rims). Nice people but I have noticed the quality of the wash could be a bit better. Good value overall though.

Our favorite sushi place in Encinitas

Sakurabana is a great little hole in the wall sushi place. Their fish is very fresh and they try very hard to make the most of their small space. We're very picky sushi lovers and they're our favorite place in Encinitas!

Turned a potentially bad situation around

We hired King of the Painters to do some minor touch up work on the exterior of the house, but our experience did not get off to a good start. Although our job was small (we're holding off on a full house repaint for another year or so), we were surprised to feel that we were being treated as unimportant – especially considering the great testimonials on their work. We voiced our complaints and were pleasantly surprised by the quick response. King of the Painters apologized for the oversight and immediately took action to correct the problem, including going above and beyond the original scope of the job. They took care of everything we asked for and more; and did it all free of charge. King of the Painters truly cares about their reputation and work, as evidenced by the impressive turnaround in our case. We never expected them to perform the work for free, but the ability to admit the occasional mistake and the willingness to do whatever it took to rectify it was greatly appreciated.

Great work!

Baer Heating and Air is a smaller HVAC business, but they take their growing business very seriously. They were completely professional, gave us a great rate, and did top notch work. Highly recommended.
