She's the CARE in Primary Care
If I were able to build the perfect primary care physician the doctor would need to: 1) listen to what I have to say; 2) treat me with respect; 3) be thorough in their examination; 4)actually pay attention to the diagnostic test results; 5) let me know the results; 6) include me in the plan of care; 7) care - or give me the impression they do. This is EXACTLY Dr. Omurtag. She's a wonderful physician.

The Sleeze Factor
I've lived in Clairemont for 50+ years and try to support Clairemont businesses whenever I can - Kwik N Kleen used to be my "go to" car wash. A few years back it changed owners and since then it's been an iffy proposition. The upselling got worse and I began to feel like I was getting mugged. After a recent experience, I will no longer be a customer and will warn as many people away as possible. My daughter and I met at the car wash (she in her car and I in mine) we asked for the same services - and I guess I wasn't cute enough that day - because my cost was different than hers. When we pointed that out the service writer made a joke and adjusted my price, but I understand negotiating for detailing, etc. but really....It's a very slimey experience. Your car does get washed - the interior does get vacuumed - not well, but....It's just not worth the sleeze factor.

Tops
We just got our roof re-done - and we couldn't be happier. Everyone showed up on time and ready to work, every time. They completed the work before expected and it looks better than we could have hoped for. Wonderful experience.

Great in Every Way
Troy is a hands-on owner. We've been going to Mission Bay Automotive more more than 10 years. He has kept our old clunkers running long past their prime. He even did a phone "diagnostic" when my daughter got stranded in Woodland, CA when her Volvo broke down on the way back to school. He spoke to the mechanic and let her know that the mechanic was o.k. and not ripping her off. He double-checked the work when she got home. They stand behind their work and never try to sell me something I don't want or don't need. A good example: my Isuzu had an annoying squeak. I asked if he could fix it and he said, "yeah, but it's costly - and it ain't broke, just embarassing." So, I drove my squeaky Isuzu until it was time to have it hauled to the junk yard....
Thanks, Troy.
