Poor management and staff
The staff seems to be too young and is a little unprofessional. They barely greet you when you come in and it feels like they hate their job. The manager though is the real immature one at this gym. I've had a few encounters with him and every time I left feeling like someone should teach him some manners. I guess it kind of explains the immaturity of the staff. He must be setting the stage!

Friendly staff, courteous management
The club size is what the club size, and so is the location and the parking situation. If you don't like the parking situation, park in front of Stater Bros and walk- after all, didn't you come for a workout?? However, let's talk about things that can actually be changed (unlike size and location)- staff and management. The manager is courteous, always smiling, and VERY approachable. The staff greets you and takes the time to actually read your name, smile and make eye contact. The class teachers are also super friendly. I've been a 24hourfitness member for a long time (over 10 years) and this is by far my best location (out of Miramar, UTC and RB).

Like talking to a wall
Talking to this one is like talking to a wall. My chair has more emotions than her. After waiting 6 hours to talk to her on the phone, finally she called me. For symptoms she has already seen my son for, less than 5 days ago, she still wanted me to take my son to see her AGAIN because she can't prescribe over the phone. Yeaaaah right. I say because she can't CHARGE me over the phone. To top it all of, she was rude and obnoxious. I'd rather see the Nurse Practitioner at CVS than swipe my insurance card at her practice. If all they care for is my money, then I get to pick who gets it!!

Speedy Gonzalez
Not impressed at ALL. I am still looking for a good Pediatrician and this one definitely does not fit the bill. Although we were the only ones in the clinic, she was speeding through our appointment like crazy. She has a "holier than thou" attitude, she is rude and unfriendly. I would not recommend her at all nor would I recommend that whole clinic where she works in Scripps Ranch.

Lowes Home Improvement posted on 9/26/2009
Expensive and no one to help you
If other people are saying this Lowes has good customer service, look at the time the review was written. Back in 2006-2007, there may have been someone to help you in the aisles. This is 2009- bad economy and less people on the floor (both employees and associates). Yes, Lowes still reeks at customer service in comparison to HD. I'll admit though that they have nicer stuff if you are willing to pay at least 1.5 times the price of HD. Finally, if you must go to Lowes, go to this one in Santee and avoid at all costs the one in Mission Valley, where associates are rude, not knowledgeable and are plain sick of customers since it is always tooooooo crowded!!

Rude and Unfriendly
If you want to be treated with respect, go to the Outlet stores in Carlasbad. Although I didn't visit every store, but I went into a few: Bath and Body Works, Guess, Levi's, Sketchers and Children's Place. All associates were rude and unfriendly. I needed to use a phone at Levi's to get my husband's size to BUY another pair of jeans, they wouldn't let me use their phone. At Bath and Body Works, they sold me an opened, almost empty, sticky hand soap!! And before they ask you, just because I have latin looks, the associates start talking to you in Spanish!! English first please!!

I prefer Home Depot
Although the variety of items found there is interesting, the prices are always more expensive than at Home Depot, but most importantly, Lowes staff is a nightmare!! A few employess stand out, Coco for example, the manager, is really great. Look for him when you have troubles with the other associates. The rest of the employess at Lowes, I've had really bad personal experiences with (rude and unhelpful). It's like they're disgusted just by talking to you.

Whatever
It's ok. The food is ok, a little on the wilted side, prepared too far in advance. The price is not that enticing. The guy at the sushi bar, although his sushi is barely edible, has a tip jar and looks at you square in the eyes to push you to tip him!! Am I not paying enough for the food??? Cleanliness? I try not to think too much about it while I'm there!

Pacific Swim posted on 8/12/2009
Great Teachers
The teachers at Pacific Swim are the best part of Pacific Swim: Wendy, Taylor, Ali... Di, the one in charge with the British accent, is only OK. She can be a little unaccomodating, a little pushy, borderline rude but the quality of the lessons is great. Kids are taught at their own rhythm. I go to the Double Tree Golf Resort Hotel in PQ. The people OF THE HOTEL (older ladies working the desk) at the fitness center can be a little mean. It's like they're not too happy with all these kids frequenting their premises. You enter the fitness center and you're bombarded with hand written instructions: "Children do not play with the door", "Swimmers, get your own towels", "Pacific Swim participants, sign-up at the door"... and on and on and on... What kind of hotel do you think you're running?? A 5 star Hyatt Regency??? Take it easy hotel-police!

It's ok
It is something different to do. Not too kids friendly. The menu at the restaurant is, although affordable, not too tasty. It's "deli" food. The service is just ok, not too rude nor too friendly either but actually a little obnoxious as in "we're the only winery in the area, if you're not too pleased with our service, take your business somewhere else". The wine however is good and the bottles as well as the price per glass are very affordable. We sat on the terrace and so we had to carry our food ourselves to our own table all the way from the restaurant. They do not serve water when you sit on the terrace. I had to run to my car to get my bottle of water.
